Arezzo Fashion

This photo was the day after Ash Wednesday, a holiday the Italians celebrate called “Madonna del Conforto“. A miracle that happened in Arezzo in 1796. The Aretini come to the cathedral to pay their respects and there is an overwhelmingly long line to enter.

To my fellow Americans, I’d like to emphasize that when I say Arezzo is a remarkably stylish city, I’m not exaggerating. Just a quick stroll to grab a newspaper down one street for five minutes, and you’ll witness the impeccable fashion sense of the Aretini. They truly are remarkable dressers. To drive this point home, these were snapped yesterday, a random Tuesday morning around 9:30 am. What is in your closet these days? I hope this inspires you to dress yourself up! Stay tuned this will be a fun project to continue…

  1. The suit jacket and checkered pants are on point. I love their personal expression being so colorful and confident.
